The Grinder has my favorite coffee! They have more flavors to choose from for coffees or syrups than any other shop I've been to. Lisa is wonderful and friendly. She has nice clothing and other things to shop for... Always something to see. I like the seating variety, including an outdoor area away from traffic. You get to be a part of nature out there... So relaxing! It's also nice that you can eat there. Whether it's soup and sandwich or a giant muffin, or scone or other, it is all delicious!

Easy going and relaxing place with great Italian ice and an even better backyard view while enjoying it!

Very cute little store and cafe. My french onion soup was tasty and the service was quick. The bathroom right off of the dining room with the door propped open was a little unappetizing. Other than that, nice little lunch spot!

Love love love The Grinder! Super friendly, amazing food and treats, and yummy coffee. Plus you can buy super cute stuff from clothes and jewelry to cards and decor! I recommend the chicken salad wrap and french onion soup!

The women running the front were very rude and impatient. The coffee is extremely overpriced and not worth it. I wanted to support a local business, but I'd honestly rather go to Starbucks or Caribou over these hags. They put the "fee" in "coffee", because this whole experience is costly in more than one way.

Good sandwiches.

Neat coffee shop with lots of knick knacks, clothes, purses and other things to buy. They have delicious coffee and breakfast sandwiches.

The staff is super friendly. We had a card issue and they were really understanding and let us eat before taking care of it. The food was really, really good and there's all kinds of things to buy in there store that's adjacent to the cafe. The staff was super knowledgeable with their food recommendations and went above and beyond to indulge my wife when she was looking at their things. Lol they were almost too helpful, my wife bought a bunch of really cool stuff. I recommend this place if you're hungry or if you're looking for something to get your loved ones.

Crowded waited 10 mins for someone to help us and ended up walking out without so much as a gretting crowded with un needed junk

i really like this place because the people are really nice and i know that because when i was younger i wanted to work there and i was too young but they let me rack the leaves and then i would get a frappe and i loved it there and i would go there as much as i could and all i had to do was walk over the hill if you rember me please email me and i will go there over the summer and help out again

Great place for a small meeting and they have two kinds of ice tea and you can order 1/2 a sandwich!

Great little unique restaurant. I had an egg salad sandwich and French Onion soup. Really good. Good coffee as well.

As a non coffee drinker I go to enjoy the food and ambiance. While their food is a little limited (wraps/sandwiches and soup) it is always good. There are always some neat signs or purses to look at when you are there as well. The wait can be a bit long if there is group in front of you but is usually pretty short.

Cons: I was a little disappointed that their iced drinks are just hot coffee that they stick ice into instead of cold press. Also instead of flavoring they literally put caramel syrup (like the kind you put on ice cream) in there so it doesn't mix well and the coffee had an unpleasant aftertaste. The whole place had a weird smell about it like onions mixed with tacos and the baristas were kind of curt and unfriendly. I was very surprised considering most small town venues I've been to have a pretty friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I think someone had brought tacos in there which would at least explain part of the smell. Pros: Service was prompt and the employees were at least formally polite.

The Grinder has long been the place where Granite’s citizens gather to hatch plans and talk over community happenings. It is a soup and sandwich place and the food is good. Find a cozy nook and check out the wildlife!

Beautiful shop, very clean and tons of great unique gift ideas! Coffee and food are always good and service is wonderful! My kids LOVE the cookies :-) Can't say enough good things about this place! Perfect place to go to relax and enjoy some good coffee...with friends or just a good book!

Food was really good. But... The chairs at tables were backed up to each other, only a foot apart at one set of tables. Bathrooms were not very clean. Big spider by the wall near the toilet and the wallpaper was coming off. Also we didn't see any high chairs and had to hold our 11 month old.

This is a place to connect with the locals. Good sandwiches and soup. Great to sit in the winter and look at the birds!
